No the Dec Page isnt good enough. They need to see DL-123 form.
NC DMV is probably the worst functioning of any agency I've dealt with from behind the scenes. We used to make a joke about how NC would just shut their fax off when they needed a lot of documents from people just to collect lapse fees. Useless BOH employees, backward systems, etc. I remember a few times having to call VA DMV (Light years better) to just get answers or resolve issues with the NC DMV.
I have little respect for the NC DMV after working in insurance for 3 years full-time, 1 year part-time. But just do what they say... they rank dead last of the 10 state DMV I was assigned to.
I heard they are getting a system overhaul which will be good to see. I quit insurance a bit over 6 months ago as a part time extra money job (7pm - 2am shift based in NY wfh).. I heard it got better.
I still remember their fax in Raleigh.. it was like 919 something haha
