Did you check out the Andrews Chamber of Commerce website? I just looked real quick, it list all the restaurants, retail shops and things to do.

Pretty remote area of NC, especially with a town population of under 2,000 residents. You may want to re-post your inquiry using a subject title of "Cherokee County".

If you like th quite rural life but not far from everything:Andrews is a great place with terrific people.

Income per household is low there $20k a year on the average.

The average home in Andrews is around $70K. So I guess it's more about cost-of-living than large city type salaries.
