Default Highest unemployment

I don't get anything when I click that link. The original statement doesn't comply with the data that I have heard. I understand that not many months ago Caldwell County had the highest rate of unemployment in the stae. There has been no new industry moving there so it is hard to believe it would have improved on it's own. It went to that unenviable position because of furniture plant closings.

If you are able to get anything on the link, what is the date on the data?

You're right, that original link is no longer working. Try this link.

http://eslmi40.esc.state.nc.us/Thema.../MapSelect.asp

Choose "Unemployment Rates" from the drop-down menu on the bottom of the page.

I never mentioned anything about Caldwell County. However, unemployment for Caldwell is still among the highest group based on the map. Try the new Web link.
