Question What can you tell me about Asheboro NC?

Asheboro is just one of many areas we are looking at to purchase a home. I know the NC Zoo is located there but any other information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
E

heavyd27203 is on a distinguished road
Well, the Richard Petty museum is in nearby Randleman. Pottery stores are in nearby Seagrove. Asheboro is 30 minutes from Greensboro, 1 hour from Raleigh, 45-60 minutes to Winston-Salem, 1 hour 15 minutes to Charlotte, approximately 3 hours to the mountains & 3 hours to the beach. No alcohol sold in Asheboro, but it is sold in nearby Randleman & Liberty.
