Raised yeast dough, rolled, with a ground nut, or poppy seed, or prune filling.

Wilmington/Castle Hayne
Hi,
I'm of half polish and half russian decent. Born and raised in Chicopee, MA where there is a huge population. There is a polish festival in Castle Hayne. I'm always on the look out for any polish stuff so if I find something I'll let you all know.

I just moved to Fay in December. I'm an American-born Polish girl but I'm fluet in both English and Polish. As of yet I haven't seen or heard of any Polish community, a church or even a store or anything. In all honesty I'm about to go crazy. I'm starving for my own culture. And I can't even cook the food I was raised on in my own home because there isn't even a store. At least not that I have found. I hope you have better luck.
