I can't imagine what people used to do without the internet. Look at us this is like a support group online. I don't know about you guys but one minute I'm excited and the next I'm a wreck.
This is a great tool. By the time we all meet we'll feel like old friends. I already know more people online than I do in my own neighborhood. I even have a mental picture of what everyone looks like.......... LOL

I look nothing like I sound, believe me. Contary to popular belief, I am not some middle aged woman wringing her hands over things that I can't control. Normally I am very composed. But I am very conservative and dress that way and normally act that way. As for what I look, well, I'll let you figure that out on your own. I am a burnette.

I actually look more like Jacklyn Smith than anyone else. Now if I just had her figure and money, I would be doing great.

Oh, we have earthquakes in NC, especially in the Mountain region. They're normally mild and cause little damage. The most powerful ones recorded in the state were in the 6 range on the Richter Scale. The most recent earthquake was a 2.6 on March 6th of this year and was located 25 miles NNE of Asheville.

Oh that's nice another thing to worry about. Why am I leaving a place that has none of this for a place that has all of this? This better be worth it. LOL

You probably have some of this type of stuff too, but just don't know it. Most of the stuff that does occur from time to time is not newsworthy except locally. I imagine that the average NC resident doesn't know about the earthquake activity unless they live in the Mountain Region. The area around Yuma, AZ seems to be your active area.

Ok...... you always have a way of scaring me and then making me feel better. I bet I have learned me on this site than most people that have lived in NC there whole lives. I wish I would have stumbled on this site sooner. I would have been there already and I would have been able to unload my house here at a better price.
