Not at all. He has been crying this tune on every post he has been on. I get it he doesn't like NC. He misses his family. He needs to be around people that have lived in the same place for generations.

Dangerous for who? Not everybody has the same priorities in life or even the same thoughts about life as you. Your way is not the only way, or even the best way for everyone. You said that you wish that you could have stayed in 1 house in 1 neighborhood for your whole life, and that is just great for you, but it is not for everybody.

I made a point of saying it was only for me. I also am going back "home" and happened upon this thread after finding one in the NY forum. I never said I discovered this pattern and have said many times that it is a cylce that keeps going. If you are going to be rude then you don't have to respond to my posts at all.

I've hardly been crying and it's hardly been "all I'm doing". I've also given plenty of people advice on areas of NC to live, neighborhoods and pricing in them, best schools etc. And trying to calm a1mi down about NC's "extreme weather" that she is terrified of because I wouldn't want someone to pass up an oportunitiy they wanted only beause they had un-necessary fears about the weather. So yes; your comments were harsh, uncalled for, and immature.

I kinda noticed that people in the NC side are more harsh with the words than the SC side. Interesting.

Hi, I've been reading all of the comments, and finally wanted to share my thoughts. We moved from Boston, MA almost 2 years ago. We are living in Union County- Waxhaw area of Charlotte. We found a beautiful home. I can honestly say there a many things here for the kids. The YMCA is great. The shopping is wonderful. The climate is such a relief from the northeast. Traffic is still an issue on the small narrow roads that are not meant to handle the growing county. However, myself personally- i find the culture lacking here. It's a great place to raise a family, but having grew up in Boston, I miss the culture of the city.
Taxes are affordable compared to MA-
This (Waxhaw) is the sweet spot, however I do miss things about New England that you just can't find here. (Boston Red Sox, good Italian food, etc)
PS- we have to relocate back north soon..my husband is besides himself at the cost of living up there compared to here
