I live in Cary now but if I had to leave, I would head straight for Sunset Beach, NC. It is my favorite place in NC. My second choice would be Asheville - I love the laid back, unique feel there.

guess i'd pack up and head north about a mile to huntersville and go back to work on monday.

outside of the state i'd head back to VA, but not DC area this time (i'm through with that crap). i'd be in Franklin County VA, and since we are dreaming... on Smith Mountain Lake.

It would be a toss up between Winston-Salem and Raleigh, Probably Raleigh because I think there is more economic production although in my heart I like the Winston area more.

I lived in Charlotte for 10 years. Then I moved to Raleigh where I've lived for over 2.5 years. If I had to stay in NC, my next move would be to Boone given that I could port my job.

I think I would get lost in the little mountain town of Brevard. Just maybe life wouldn't go by in a blink there....

This is true so many things to do near by I would get lost in Pisgah National Forest oh wait that happen to me when I was 16 . I was following one of the trails but a logging road was carved in it and I didnt know where it started up again , I was with a group and one found a bee hive in the ground so we couldnt go back the way we came lol. I dont know how we got ourselves out but it was hours later.

I'd move to...hrmm...either up the place in the mountains where we have a cottage (it's way out there) or Saluda. If outside of NC then Williamsburg or Charlottesville.

Well, when I move again I'm done with tourists.

It's horse country. Lots of shows and clubs. Nice people, some transplants but horse people are horse people (my daughter is one). "It's all about the horse" as her T says.

Pretty area, close to Hendersonville and upstate SC.

Economy wise I have no idea what is there.
