What's in Salisbury, NC??
Seriously,....what is in Salisbury, NC,.. because I have never been. Although, an opportunity might arise where I might be headed there, and I know I can alway count on the good people of NC to keep me abreast on all the nice, little towns within the area.
So...how about Salisbury, NC?
OK...to be fair. Here are some things I need: universities with PhD programs and teaching opportunities, medical facility, fair housing with fair property taxes, plenty of land, and.....ummm, how about a Home Depot and a descent town where I can get all the daily items I need to sustain life.
That's it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Salisbury
Ok Salisbury may not have large Universities, but we have Catawaba College which is a wonderful school(look it up sometime) We also have Phifer College. Of course it's only a short drive to UNCCharlotte and other colleges. You can always get the items for daily life. This isn't Midville GA---there's too many grocery stores, Wal-mart, drugstores to count, and guess what? They're almost done with the Home Depot!! It's not too far from Lowe's! Wow!

Moved into Salisbury in April turns out to be really nice. Great people, nice restaurants good services and pretty low taxes. Live out by lake it seems to be 5 degrees cooler then other areas.

There's a place named George's, an Italian restuarant , that has one of the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches I have had. Just like you find in New England.
