Congrats on buying property in such a nice area!
I would highly recommend you consider the Kings Mountain State Park campground - I think it is really nice and very scenic. This area was the scene of a Revolunary War battle and has a neat visitor center and path you can walk all around the battlefield. The campground is just over the state line in South Carolina.
