Please, because I think it is in your best interest, interview and sign on with a Broker/Realtor in the area that you decide to move to. They have access to accurate and up to date information and most can set up personalized websites that send you properties that fit your specified criteria on a daily basis.

Hello?? 21st century here, EVERYONE looks for homes on the internet, there are plenty of good sites like hpw.com and fmrealty.com that are completely anonymous so folks can browse to their hearts content, they are updated daily and very accurate.

We had a great buyer broker when we finally made the decision to make the move, but why should anyone in this day and age sign on with a broker when they are in the "investigational stage"

We did our homework before making trips down to NC and had a very good idea of the market and where we wanted to buy....

It would pain me if anyone DIDN'T use the internet to search for homes before hiring a broker
