The Back Country Horsemen of North Carolina is accepting applications for a new Back Country Horsemen license plate.

Two-thirds of the money collected from plate sales will go to the Back County Horsemen, a rider-run group dedicated to keeping public lands open for recreational horseback riding.

Nice and it is using the colors from the NC plate from the 60's sort of.

I also am glad it is for a good cause.

mm - Is there a site to find more information out about this group? I'm involved with a group on the coast of NC also working towards keeping or creating equestrian trails on public lands. I think all of the groups like this in NC need to network and work together on this
