No. Can you post some? That is the only town we have found we like. Crime is good and houses have a good price too. We will be there Sept 1st.

Hey a1m1700- did you read the post from pegmomof4 (under Winston-Salem info)? She move to Waxhaw, and has some good info regarding schools- doesn't sound so good! Just a heads up for you, before you venture down there (and Bound4NC, of course)!

Hummmm! I hear none of the schools are really that good. I am seeing crime rates in 2000 which were good to 2004 which aren't. Is the police not ready for the population growth?

Did you try checking the crime stats using a specific zipcode instead of the city name. I found a huge discrepancy between the two for my little hometown, which makes me wonder if any of the stats are even remotely accurate.

On the main page, just type the zipcode instead of City & State in the "Find Anyplace" field.

The USPS says Matthews has 3 zipcodes

28104
28105
28106

The 28106 zipcode appears to be for Post Office boxholders only.

Waxhaw has only one as far as I can tell - 28173
