Too soon to tell what the storm's status will be for NC, if anything, but it does warrant keeping an eye on it as the weekend approaches. Those maps are revised by the National Hurricane Center every three hours.

I know and we have to go to FL next Monday. I think after hanna there are two more newcomers starting. After your post I checked weatherunderground and Noaa. I do hate hurricanes and do not like the drawn out waiting period. That is why I liked CA. We had earthquakes but it happened before you knew what was happening. We also moved from FL because of the hurricanes. We moved there in 2004 two weeks before the four hurricanes started. What a greeting.lol
