Where are the NJers living?
Hello all,
We moved from coastal NJ to the Hickory area.
We do love it here.
Just curious, what areas have former NJ folks settled in and why?

We moved from Somerset County to Union County (NC), and we love it! We wanted to be near Charlotte for job opportunities and it's been a good choice. If it weren't for the need for employment, we possibly would have gone a little bit more rural.

My mom was a Jersey girl and moved to Franklin, NC after years in Florida. There are many "half-backers" in her area.

PattiV, we are from Westchester County, NY and considering moving to Hickory. I would appreciate some feedback from your experience. What part did you relocate to, what schools are your children in (if you have any)? What do you find you like and dislike the most? I'm visiting in March, and would love some first hand news prior to my visit. thanks!
