Quality Builders in Hickory/Taylorsville area (home builders, garage, land)

Hi folks,

Another one from Joisey to NC My wife and I purchased some land in the Ellendale / Taylorsville area and plan to build in the spring. Looking for recommendations on some quality, reliable custom home builders in the area that we can check out. The home will be approx 2300 to 2600 sq ft, above average build/finishes, from our plans.

Thanks for the response. However, I do not believe AHP builds from custom plans, just there own

AHP has only 80 floorplans that they build from - however, occassionally they do build from custom plans.

Terry Reitzel is really our "top" recommendation from all of the builders we have worked with in the past... Moderator cut: tos violation :-) He's a friend of ours, as well as a business contact.

Let me know what you find out as far as builders. We moved from Philadelphia to Taylorsville and would like to build a garage with a room above. It is so hard to gauge the reputation of builders when we have only been in the area a few months.
