Default Help!!! Looking for a decent hotel

my husband and i are traveling on a home finding trip. the good 'ole government only allots $70 per night in the fayetteville area and i guess something is going on the week that we are going to be there, so no one will honor the $70 rate. i'm looking in southern pines and i just want to know if anyone can tell me if the microtel inn or the comfort inn are nice. so far they are the only ones that will give me the government rate. i appreciate any help. thanks!!

If you judge people, you have no time to love them

I cannot speak of that location but I try to stay at Microtel when ever it is possible due to enjoyable prior experiences.
I have stayed from the mountains to the coast at various ones and no disappointments. They recently renovated all the Microtels so you can expect plush pillows and classic nice bed spreads etc and carpet.

However saying that some cities they are located in the rough side of towns I would check on that and if you do sign up for Microtel get a Micropass and make sure the hotel you staying at knows this before you register.

Every 10th night is free.

Hi,

We usually stay at the Microtels when we travel, but the one in Southern Pines was awful when we stayed a year ago. The Comfort Inn on 15-501is much newer and my inlaws enjoyed the breakfast.

If you are looking in Southern Pines for a home, I give it a big thumbs up. We live in the downtown area on N. May and walk to everything. Our realtor is great, if you want a recomendation.
