We are considering a relocation to NC. We are a young couple (early 20s) and I have a degree in accounting but would be open to a career change. My boyfriend is a manager for a Honda dealership in Jersey. How is the car business in NC? I know the economy is slow, but are there (new car) dealerships centralized in any certain area? What areas are good to start a family? We want to raise our children somewhere a little less "busy" than the Phila suburbs but would need decent school districts. Thanks for any input!!
The majority of the state's population and employment opportunities are concentrated in the Piedmont Region with Charlotte being the largest metro area with about 2.3 million people living in sixteen counties in two different states, 12 counties in North Carolina and 4 in South Carolina.
