Hog Farms?
I've just moved to Eden NC from Iowa...and I was wondering if there was any Hog Farms in the area for work...or close to Greensboro?

Im sorry you will not be able to go hang out at a Hog Farm and whiff in the fresh produced air.
They are primary in eastern North Carolina I cannot confirm across the border in VA if you will get to enjoy them
However Moo- Moo's, Windshield splatters devices (pumpkins) and apple farms will be around Eden

This website specializes in putting people in agricultural careers..and they deal with all the large hog producers in the state.
And most of them are in Sampson/Duplin counties (in fact, the president of AgCareers is in Clinton, Sampson County).
AgCareers.com. Just looking on there, Murphy-Brown has a Farm Manager trainee position open in Duplin County).
Murphy-Brown, Smithfield, Premium Standard, Carroll's are all located in the same immediate area, and they always have something open.

The only problem is you will competing for jobs with the large illegal alien population in North Carolina. Drive though some tiny Eastern NC towns and you will think half the population is hispanic.

Farm managers and "higher level" jobs still really given to the Hispanics. They get the "dirty" jobs on the hog farms.
