NC State Vehicle Inspection (insurance, how much, buyer)

Last April I had the turbo replaced in my 2001 1/2 VW Passat, shortly after the work was complete my information screen started showing a display saying (everytime I start my car) that there is a fault inthe airbag. Im due for inspection and Im wondering if the airbag light being on is going to cause my car to fail inspection?? If any one know please let me know this will ne the 3rd
year I will had to have the inspection waivered and @ $250+ I cant keep doing it!!! Thank You Soo Much!!

I'm looking at my 2006 inspection report and I don't see anything about airbags or airbag warning lights on the checklist.

In May of 2006, I paid $30 for total inspection. Those residents who live in counties without the emission test will pay much less. It's an annual inspection.

I think it was $9.10 for just the safety inspection here in Polk when I had mine done (August).

The different colors just represent the different dates that the emissions inspection were being implemented, and all of those dates have passed. So, if you're in a county with a color, you have to get the more expensive emissions inspection.

This is only if your vehicle is a 1995/96 or later.

I just sold a 1997 toyota and now the buyer says someone told him it won't pass inspection since the airbag is gone. I hit a deer and it deployed. I just cut it out. i didn't turn it in to the insurance because it only did damage to the bumper and grille, whick I replaced since the price was under the amount of my deductible. is it true if an airbag is cut out due to an accident, that it won't pass inspection? I did disclose this to the buyer when he purchased it. It costs a lot of money to replace airbags and I chose not to. It is a 1997 toyota Tacomo 4x4 pickup

Didn't see anything about air bags in the 132 page inspection manual.

I have a 2006 suzuki show car... with the factory steering wheel ripped out... the NC safety inspection does NOT include airbags.... someone lied to u bro...

New to this!! Just moved here so I know I have to obtain a DL but how do I get a 1994 car I just bought registered here so I can get plates? Also how do I know if it is already has a current inspection? This car was bought here in NC and already has NC plates. Please help I am having such a hard time even finding a DMV I live in Moyock and it seems the only one I can find is in Wayne CO.
