There are some listings on the NC State Employment Security Commission web site. Search on the word "heavy".

Have you ever seen those FREE Employment Guides at the supermarket or gas stations? I noticed in the current issue there are a two or possibly three opportunities for Heavy Equipment Operators? In case these guies are area-specific, we are in the Charlotte region.

Good luck on your search!

I imagine you could find work almost anywhere in NC, especially near major cities that are growing. My husband is a civil engineer and runs jobs. He's currently working in Georgia but will be back to do work here in NC. There are many opportunities for you here if you choose to search them out. The first job is the hardest to get but after that, you won't have a problem...
