Hard to pin point exactly...I would say any area not too far from a medium sized city that is in some way desirable, like near a lake, major river, or the mountains. Thats a pretty broad area I know, more specifically in my area I expect the following:
1. Lake Norman towns to continue explosive growth: Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, and Mooresville.
2. Troutman is next in line as people try to escape high costs and traffic of Mooresville.
RaleighRob,
What should a downtown high-rise condo sell for?
Seriously. I think you are looking at a VERY expensive way to provide shelter. We are talking about extremely expensive construction methods for going vertical, code compliance costs, and various et ceteras that I am hardly qualified to quantify.
I don't think that high-rise living is a cheap alternative. It is just more environmentally friendly, in terms of impervious surfaces.
