Default Charlotte or Releigh (Please help me)

Hello my name is Dee and I currently reside in a suburb outside of Cleveland, OH. I am very much interested in moving to The Raliegh Durham area around Research Triangle Park or Downtown Raliegh but I am also looking to move to Charlotte. The problem is that Im an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager and I was wondering with this "Profession" where would I most likely be able to find a job between these to major cities. Also which city has more to do for recreation? In Cleveland they are praising North Carolina and especially the Raliegh area to be the next Atlanta. Thank you very much for your responses I really appreciate it.

I think Charlotte is your choice. Major banking hub, airline hub, NFL, NBA, NASCAR, close to Atlanta, mountains, beaches. Its my choice but I have lived here since 1978. Great ity but still a small town atmosphere. Real estate, higher appreciation rate than Ral/Dur.

I like Charlotte but considering what I'm going through finding work Raleigh has to be better. BTW I'm in the same field and it's not like you can't find work but the pay is low.

Huntersville,Davidson,Mooresville,Cornelius,Concor d,Denver. That's all N and NW and NE within 33-45 minutes from uptown with regular traffic. I'm not familar with the Southern suburbs of Charlotte. I'm sure others can help with that. Good Luck.

I was about to, LOL. I finally got some good news on a job today, Duke Energy came back and we bargained down to me taking .50 less and hour opposed to 3.00 per hour and I start Tuesday so I'm starting to perk up now.

I was even getting ready to check out Florida.......LOL

Eastern and southern burbs include, Stallings, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Matthews, Waxhaw, Ballantyne, and into South Carolina, just a spitting distance away is, Ft. Mill, Lancaster and Tega Cay on Lake Wyle. Commutes from these areas are from 20 -45 mins. Prices from the high150's to 500's Charlotte still beats Ral. / Dur.

DH tried to find work in Raleigh but got an offer in Charlotte.

It was actually funny. He interviewed in Raleigh and got an offer for their Charlotte office!
