Yeah, but can NC really compare just because of one dirty politician? He's in prison now, so at least his crimes won't go on for decades or anything. By all accounts he went bad in the last 10 years and before that we've had pretty clean politics here

Smile tornado outbreak 1984 nc

Well,

I was 10 years old at the time of the outbreak. The F4 that moved from northeast of Clinton down Hwy 403 into Duplin County came 3 miles from our home.

Beffrey 2 was right, a very scary night. Question for Beffrey? You mentioned you saw one in Greene County that day. These storms came through after dark.

Just wondering if you are referring to the same set of storms?

Wbyrd

I'm sorry. You are right. I really got my days mixed up!

The tornado I saw in Greene co was back on an afternoon in June 86. We also ran into a bad hail storm that same day in western Craven Co...just under an hour before the tornado in Greene co. (we were heading back to Wilson from New Bern)

I really don't know what I was thinking.....or how I could have got the years mixed up. lol
