I'm curious to know what the top town, cities, villages, etc... in North Carolina that have noticed an increase in newcomers from other parts of the US.
Nc has always had a large influx of outsiders, mostly retired because job market is not as strong as NE. It and banking has started some whom must work to move to Charlotte for banking and Raleigh for It. It all has come to a stand still now
In the Triangle, a lot of people from New England have settled in the suburb of Cary(#8 on that list from 2007). People even joke that "Cary" stands for "Containment Area for Relocated Yankees".
I have seen the increased newcomers....ALL OVER THE ROAD!
