Raise income tax? NC state taxes are already high. I honestly can't believe they aren't seriously considering cutting workers. Less money = less employees. Businesses get it. Why don't politicians?

Also against state law to lay off state workers? Are you kidding me? Who the hell let that one pass? I think I need to work for the Government and mooch off all the tax payers!

How does one get involved in government from a volunteer standpoint?
