Default Salisbury, NC

Thinking of retiring to Salisbury, NC, and are visiting there on March 7-9th.

Was wondering what the difference is between Salisbury and Statesville?

We are looking to move to a nice cute/quaint downtown area where we can walk to town.

Would like to live in a neighborhood with tree lined streets.

Which of these two towns would fit for us?

Thanks

Default Wondering??

I see know one has replied, but I am wondering what you thought of Salisbury/Statesville? My husband and I are also looking to move our young family to the Salisbury area and want the small town life. I would love to here what you thought.

Why do you choose those 2 cities?

I think of so many others for retirement: Boone, West Jefferson, Mt. Airy, Elkin or somewhere on the coast.
