Default Water Is Expensive In Nc

Can anyone tell me about the water bills in N.C. does it run different according to County, or is it Statewide? They seem really high....

City water here in Mooresville is $4.52 per every 1000 Gallons for usage between 0-10,000 gallons.

It's from your city (or your county maybe, depending where you are).

I would imagine it could be higher than some other states because just about everywhere in NC, we had to make man-made lakes to hold water for us. There's hardly any good natural sources of water...some smaller towns can get it from a good-sized river, but the cities usually have to rely on these big man-made lakes.
