So, I guess the answer is that the girls here are representative of the world at large, and vary wildly.

Sorry.
Exactly. In the Triangle, southerners are now the minority I think. People look at you so strange if they ask "so where you from" and you say "here".

I wouldn't say southernes are the minority quite yet. Give it another decade though and that would definitely be a valid statement.

What do you think? I love those Southern accents too!

I'm sure you Southern Boys love all girls, N-S-E-W. A man is a man after all. This could get interesting here. Without a woman speaking, and you have caught each other's eye from across a room, then a smile, how could you tell where the woman is from? Is that the first thing Southern Boys try to figure out, or do you just have a knowing? Or, is it really the last thing on your mind where she is from?
Personally, If I like what I see, I don't care where your from, because you just brightened my day.. But, it would be interesting to know if you can really tell where a woman is "originally" from. Everyone having "normal" looking hair ( no big 80's poof)

Don't worry about it, Patti. If you're moving to Charlotte or Raleigh, you won't have any problem understanding people.

It's kinda hard to write in a southern drawl, using "southernisms" so you're probably not the only one who didn't understand it

That's good to know. Since you have a lower "rep" power then me I'm gonna bump it up for ya.
