OK, since we're stereotyping people here, I'll tell you what a typical born and bread white Greensburra male looks like. You can extrapolate it out to figure what the chicks look like.
Round face, Scotch-Irish peaches and cream complexion, small nose, average height, light hair, sometimes a high-pitched voice. Very polite. Tendency to talk around a subject, getting straight to the point considered rude.

Exjerseyite's Getting the Accent
LOL! I'm cracking up at the "Greensburra" part. Didn't take you long to get that down. Are you living in Greensburra? Pretty good stereotype, too

I don't know, I just like it when they smile at me. It doesn't happen very often anymore for some reason? It just makes my whole day. There are few things as beautiful and stirring as a genuine across the face smile from a female. Especially from one whom you have never met before. I'm glad I live where it is considered more common!

Omigosh! That was a beautiful sentiment. Thanks for sharing it. My husband has a smile that lights up the room, so I think it works both ways.

It's kinda hard to write in a southern drawl, using "southernisms" so you're probably not the only one who didn't understand it

Cassie,
Scary thing is that I did understand every bit of it.
PS-Nice piece of writing.

I agree and I don't think the question that he asked was meant to be offensive, just wondering. But there is a certain charm in Southern women that makes me proud to be one. My mother was from Georgia, also, and she had a grace and elegance that I can only dream of duplicating. However, I've also found that women from up North are very fashionable, savvy and just fun talk to. It's not a North/South thing, goodness, that's old. One of my husband and my best friends was born here in the South but his family is from Elmirya, New York(sp?) and we have the best conversations and joke each other on the hick/yankee thing and he gets on my nerves with our Atlanta Braves/New York Yankees fight. To the guy wondering how the women are here in the South, they are the same as they are anywhere else. A good woman is a good woman. Period.

You've got to be kidding! There are FAR more attractive women in the south than up north! Say what you want to about the red states, the women come out far more attractive, I think it has something to do with the sun personally. Everytime I go north the women, and people in general just look so doom and gloom. Seattle is the worst! Yes, we have some fatty-trailer types, but going out on a Friday summer night on Glenwood can be dangerous to your tongue!
