Tell me about Conover!
My husband may be transferring to Lenoir for work and we have been looking at the Conover area.
Tell me what you think of it? I know it's a small town, but does it have "small town" feel? Would they welcome a "transplant" in that town (we're from the midwest)? We have 3 small children (1,3 and 5) - schools good? I've heard stories of children having a hard time making friends if they're not "from town", but would mine still have a hard time since they'd be starting school there in kindergarten?
Any other opinions, thoughts, etc - I would be very grateful! Thank you!
