We've been looking at the Charlotte area, and came across Salisbury in Rowan County. It looks like a nice little "older" small town. Of course, that can also mean a run-down, low-income, depressed small town...lol.
Does anyone know anything about Salisbury or the immediate area?
Salisbury is a nice little old small town. Lot of history, Low traffic, slower pace, very freindly people, lower cost of living. Nothing run-down, low-income, or depressed about. Spencer and East spencer is where you start to encouter those things. (South east of Salisbury). A nice neighborhood you might want to check out is Plantation Ridge off of Highway 601 in the Northern part of Rowan county. Acre lots with +2700 sqft. houses. Deffinitley couldn't find something like it in Charlotte without paying an arm and a leg.
