Moore County - Utilities, cable, internet, who do you suggest? (Aberdeen: buying a house, buying)

We are buying a house in rural Aberdeen.

I don't know the first thing about the utility companies.

But my main concern is who to use for internet and cable.

We want to get Verizon since I have other family who has that for their cell phone.
My husband likes to play games on the internet so we need something with a little speed, no dial up.
