The future hubster and I are toying with the idea of moving to North Carolina. We've been researching Asheville for awhile. We're moving from Syracuse, NY. We're planning on a trip down there to check out the neighborhoods, etc. Our plan is to drive down and spend a couple of days in the Asheville area, then a couple in Winston-Salem and top off the trip with a couple of days in the Chapel Hill-Durham-Raleigh area.
If at all possible, we'd like to save some money and camp at least 3 out of 6 or seven days. I've seen the Asheville East KOA website and Campfire Lodgings already but wanted to see if I could get some ideas on here...
