Default How to search for homes in NC with guest cottage..
I'm trying to narrow our search for a home in North Carolina. We want a home with a guest cottage. I'm having trouble finding something like this. I'd like to prevent going through thousands of home listings.

Anyone know how I can narrow my search? We're looking anywhere around Hickory, Rutherfordton, Brevard... but not any futher into the mountains.

I know of 2 homes in the Charlotte area for sale with guest cottages, but as far as a way to search for them, I'm not sure. I would assume that a realtor could do this search from their MLS website, but you can't access many detailed options from the public MLS search.
