I don't know how accurate that map is because I was living in Greene County on March 28, 1984 when one of the worse outbreaks of tornados hit the southern end of the county about 7:30 PM one evening. That county is in white indicating no injuries but I know that is not right. I might agree that there were 6 deaths in Greene County that year although there was one man killed that I am not totally sure if he was in Greene County or neighboring Lenoir as the tornados hit within sight distance of the Greene/Lenoir County line.
