Great list there Niki. I often been tempted for all the NYC , Chicago , La folks who ask where to move in NC to list those cities Lmao. In alot of those towns they are wondering what transplants. Alot of rural North Carolina to go around.
I would like to put Half Hell on a application, and wonder if the people in Perfection are arrogant, telling someone you are from Egypt and they look at you weird because you dont look like someone with middle easter decent. Or saying I just got a call from someon in call. I wonder if welcome residents say to a newcomer Wlecome to Welcome. LMBO

OK, I worked in Claudville, (VA), lived on Round Peak Chuch Road and my PO Box was in Low Gap. Don't think my CA friends had a laugh about that one!!

"Welcome to Welcome"
I grew up there and yes I have said the above quote on many occasions just because it is always fun. When someone asks me where I am from I say "I grew up between Midway and Welcome".... you can be sure I get some confused looks if I don't just say Winston or Lexington... or some city name people recognize

If you knew how much money there was in Tobacco over the years, you wouldn't think it's all that funny. There is an unincorperated area in Virginia called Tobaccoville too.

Employment relating to tobacco is 662,400 in the United States and 255,000 in North Carolina. The tobacco industry's estimated spending-induced impact on America's GNP was over $64.0 billion. North Carolina's tobacco economic impact is over $7.0 billion.

I think I want to move to North Carolina, just so I can live in Bat Cave...
What an awesome postal address.
