I agree. I think their MO is to give us the runaround.

I spoke to someone in Gov. Perdue's office who said they weren't expecting anything today but that the Governor has been talking to the legislators and trying to come to a resolution.

She recommended getting the updates on the ncleg.net site and also listening to the audio. So far, nothing. . .

The audio is presently silent on the NCLEG site. They are probably on recess.

They were on there earlier. They just stopped the audio in the house about an hour ago. The Senate says they aren't in session. What they were going over was not relevant to our cause. It's so nice that they're putting "adopting an official state sport" in front of our issue!

There is obviously no sense of urgency for THEM.
