Did anyone not yet on EB get their money deposited today? I did not and when I called Raleigh they said there was a "glitch" but so far nothing. Thanks for the links I will continue to send emails and hopefully something will be resolved soon.

H676 and S584 (the bill which has moved the farthest through the legislature) are not scheduled for the North Carolina General Assembly - Legislative Calendar this week.

H676 remains in The Committee on Commerce and Job Development.

S584 remains in the Committee on Finance.

yes I did. I'm in charlotte. The Esc is really a joke. A friend just called and said that he was supposed to start eb today. He filed his weekly claim and was paid. I told him that is was most likely a miscalculation of how many weeks he had left on teir 4 . Either way the esc screwed something up in his case.

laidoffafter50, I see that also, but the legislative callendar is always tentative, meaning they can add, subtract or reschedule bills to be heard. Remember with HR 383, it hadn't been mentioned until the day that they addressed the issue and took a vote on the senate level, and the next day on the house level. It remains to be seen how they will go about it this time.

Has anyone heard any updates on HR589 that Rep. Lee was sponsering? I had heard she got a meeting with Republicans but haven't heard anything since. That would really help those on EB also.

Most definitely. I put the links here so I could check them during the next few days following the legislature. Thanks for the comment.
