I want to scream.

The absolute only valid reason for this they are trying to manage something they were not hired to manage.. I could understand, though despise US house repubs doing this, their job is to manage the federal budget, however the state house/senate should ONLY be worried about the health of NC.

Seeing how atleast 11,100,000 is being missed weekly that is a lot of money the economy is missing. Add to that the average NC tax rate of about 10% and that means the state is missing 1.1 million in taxes each week as well.

We as a group are losing a lot, and we as a state are as well.

This is from another facebook comment from Ginny,

I just received a call from the office of Phil Berger, she said that she wanted to return my call and let me know that this will all be over soon she said they have been in touch with the NCESC and that they will send out all back pay as soon as this is resolved. I asked her if she had been given an indication as to how much longer and she said no she was just told it will be very soon.

How do they think it will be over soon? There has been no indication from them other than Perdue has to accept the budget. Maybe they mean July which is the budget deadline as soon. I certainly hope not.
