OK... I might be thinking and over analyzing things a little BUT...
I think the party of five was given the go ahead by Purdue to say they would over ride a veto. This way everyone comes out looking OK.

She can say " I was against these cuts to education" and the re pubs can say " we put together a fiscally sound budget and we added more money for teachers and saved the teacher assistants all while letting the increasein sales tax expire" Win win for everyone right?

Before you say I am crazy, they both looked heartless in many ways and this is a way for everyone to come out the least damaged. It is politics afterall.

Both Rep. Crawford (on video) and Rep. Its reassuring to an extent,,I mean the gov could hold the bill for 10 days and try to win those 5 back under her wing. do you think????

If she holds it for 10 days, I will do EVERYTHING in my power to see her unseated next election. This has gone on far too long with her putting up only half-hearted attempts to solve this situation without waiting on the budget.

I don't think she will, they have had time to figure out who and what could be done,I guess...Maybe like the other poster said, they all probably want credit for collaboration...But some will concede so they can say, "well, we had to give here, so this could happen". I hope she doesn't hold it, people are beyond hurting right now, the state is okay and will be okay. Hopefully she doesn't want to look any worse than what had already been portrayed.
