I just spoke to Larry Parker (Acting PIO Director) of the NC ESC and quoted the delays of the TN ESC and asked him if he expected any delays in the NC ESC system. He said it would hard to ascetain any delays because the ESC will have to "reach out" to these people and find out what they've been doing for the last 7 weeks. I then asked him about the people already approved and on EB and he stated that these people would have to be contacted as well.
It sounds like everyone needs to have all your paperwork up to date and ready to call or go to the ESC office.
Exactly,,, and I would go the very day after it gets reinstated,, just get there EARLY OR BE PREPARED TO STAY ALL DAY. I personally think it will be about a one week time frame for payment. But thats just a hopeful thinking.
No, you can not file if you were not on EB before it was cut off April 16th. You will get a message saying your benefits are exhausted and you can't file.
I got the message being processed and when I go back it says all weeks are up to date(like it would normally). I don't know if being in the WIA program has any effect. All I know is in that program you are exempt from the required job search, even though I have been looking anyway because weekly benefits are still not enough and have been struggling bad.

Yes, 2:00 this afternoon then supposedly after midnight, they'll reconvene for a final budget vote and send it to the Senate. The Senate is expected to hold a session later Saturday morning to ratify the bill and send it to Perdue.

Sounds sinister with a vote after midnight
This is the senate bill if I am not mistaken, it should not need to be ratified by them unless the house makes changed. House is supposed to vote at 2 and then again at 12:01 am.
