yeah, if you got regular UI in Year 2, not EUC, not EB, but regular UI, picture a year long calendar.
they are going to take that off, and bring over whatever you had left in Year 1 and slide that up into late January and see how long it goes.
its been, what...34ish weeks since 2/1/10.
if you started Year 1 in late January, and didnt have any breaks where you worked, i can see it being tight.

But most definately call or go in or call Monday and remember the EUC is set to end Nov 27th., so if you hadn't started a tier by that date whatever tier your in will automatically end and you would go into EB until your end date in Jan.
I'm doubting the senate will once again extend the date, I'd be more than surprised if they did it again .
YES
doubt that the senate will extend again (since the republicans will most likely take control!) IF they do itll be short term with unused simulus funds

AGAIN someone posted the link from NC ESC site where it LOOKS like they are SUPPOSED to NOT deduct weekly amounts< BUT switch the wrongly paid EU weeks with EUC AND EB weeks? BUT the letter indicates teh opposite????

WTF???
WHY IS NORTH CAROLINA SO SCREWED UP WITH THIS---- i know of NO OTHER State that is in such a mess!!!!!

SO I guess the site is saying
HEY YOU- WE SCEWED UP AND U SHOULDNT HAVE GOTTEN A NEW YEAR
and we paid u wrong
NOW if that is true
and IF they are going to replace the REGULAR 2nd YEAR weeks (13) with EUC weeks) then i should certify sunday and should start off in my 6th EB week?
BUT i will still owe $91 which is the extra $7 a week I got in my 2nd year (I got $7 more in year 2 than 1)

SOOO best case, they take $91 from me and i have 13 EB weeks left that are normal?
Sounds about right, but who knows anymore.
I thought I had mine figured out and I still say they owe me $800.00, they say I owe them $120.00 so I'm finding I know next to nothing

i'd say any Tier you start by Nov 22, youd finish out. so if it were Week 1 of Tier 3, youd get all 13 weeks.

You seem to be in a very similar situation as me. Had I not gotten those 13 weeks of regular UI...I would probably be at around the 4th, 5th, or 6th week of EB now. Today, I received an overpayment letter stating that I shouldn't have been drawing benefits for these last (coincidentally) 4-6 weeks and that I need to pay it back.

It's a possibility at least for me, that the agency removed those 13 weeks of regular UI and replaced them with the balance of first year EUC. They then realized that these last 4-6 weeks, I would've been drawing EB. But I hadn't been providing them with my work search records, as required for EB. So maybe they're trying to collect that back or have me prove that I was looking for work those weeks. I hope that's case and that would mean I'm still entitled to another, oh, 13 weeks of EB.

the whole thing is a mess.
we had to suffer through getting a week's benefit of $37 or $10 or $100 instead of a full week's EUC, which wouldnt have happened in a full strength Year 1.
nor would we have had a dead wait week when we started a Year 2.
