I recently saw 15-cent spiral notebooks at Wal-Mart. Nothing should be this cheap...seriously. If you think about what it takes to go from trees to pulp to paper to store shelf, this low cost should be disturbing to you.

I buy about 50 spiral notebooks every year at that price.

I think about it, and it makes me very happy.

I recycle.

All the office supply stores do these sales EVERY Sunday, they start around mid July. They usually have 1-3 items on a heavy discount. I am a teacher so I buy all my supplies for the year by making the rounds every Sunday morning in July and August. You can check out Staples and Office depot online on Friday to see what they will have on sale Sunday. Office Max you have to wait to check their add on Sunday morning online.
