Can you recommend a good insurance company?
We need to establish renters insurance, our current policy is from out of state and will not carry over. Right now, I just need stand alone homeowners/renters coverage, but we'll most likely be adding auto later on. My current company is an independent (non-big name) that I switched to from State Farm because SF kept raising my rates without valid reason (no tickets, claims, etc), and I'd really like to avoid the big name insurance company rates because they tend to be higher. I also want to work with an ins company that has a good track record of taking care of claims with little hassle.
