Default working in salisbury, where to live?

We will be moving to NC within a year with our new jobs in Salisbury, We are a family of 4, including two kids age 11 and 5. We are looking for a place with reasonable commute time and a great school system. My daughter is academically talented, and she also continues to play in a school or youth orchestra. Our budget will be between 400-500k Reading through this forum, I found that concord, or mooresville might be a good fit, but I also found that none of the schools in the area offer orchestra program. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

check out Rowan county around High Rock lake area, small number of gated comunities with quality built custom home builders.I believe the schools still have music programs. There is a orchestra in salisbury. Catawba College is also located here and has a highly rated music and theater dept.
