Question Whitch City is Good to raise a 14 year old boy & 7 Year old girl.

Hi We just moved to Garner, NC from Orlando, FL and we were very excited about our new journey, however since we got here, Garner is pretty boring. Any other City with great School and more activity for us to do? Please someone advices, Thanks

Do you work in Garner and need to stay close to that area? I assume the children have started school-you want to uproot this early in the year??

It depends on the type of activity you are seeking. I know a few people looking to move to Orlando, FL in the next 6 months to work and live because it is so much more fun than NC. Interesting you moved here away from a city with a LOT of activity! LOL

Well, why did you land in Garner in the first place? That would be the first clue.

We need a little more details than what you have provided. Are you tied to Garner due to work? What do your kids like to do? Etc.

Well, Raleigh is next door to Garner. Surely you could simply drive over to Raleigh for more activities (ie parks, museums, IMAX etc.). Some parts of Garner are closer to downtown Raleigh than some parts of North Raleigh.

Thank you for all your replies. The reason we moved to Garner was to be closer to my husband family because they live here. However after we moved we realize how boring it is. We decided let's take a look at other city's in NC. So we like Apex, Cary, North Raleigh and even closet by the beach. Why we moved from Orlando, FL? Well, things were getting to space over there. Florida was a place to retired but now, I consider is a place for vacation only.
