That depends. What sort of things do you want to know from them?

Not sure what it is you want to engage them in, but set up a page on Facebook, make it interesting, and have them become your fan.

You'd probably have to be a lot more specific with what you're actually trying to accomplish in order to get any decent advice.

Athletic Supporter, I have a non-traditional study tool (note-taking software tool) for college students, the key is really to benefit them. DanielleNC, a FB page has to be constructed by an articulate college student to make the connection, would you agree? Thanks folks.

Most colleges have a campus newspaper. You could advertise there.

Why are you targeting just NC colleges? Or did you post this thread in every state's forum?
Contacting reps for the student stores of these colleges would be a good start--but it's legwork you'll need to do yourself. The purpose of city-data is not really to do free work for someone's marketing campaign. If you have a business/product, contact the small business association for resources on how to market yourself.
And as for Facebook, anyone can create a basic page to get going, then fluff it up as it gets more known.

As a recent college grad, I find this sketchy.
