Hello everyone, I was wondering if I could get some info on MAggie Valley NC I will be relocating from yess another one from Florida. I have a diverse family , my husband is Puerto Rican and I and White and for curse are four children are mixed. I send the population of this town is 95 % white will this be a problem. We are looking to find something in the coulnty more so our kids can ride there 4 wheeler and thing somthing with a couple of acres. and a big house. Or can you suggest and thing around Maggie VAlley that is not to far. We have to be some what close to Maggie Valley . And much have good school and not a bad area. Thank you for any comments or suggestions that can be made.

I looked up the demographics for all of Haywood county, and not surprisingly, it is 96.85% white. 1.4% are Latino, and I'd say VERY few of those are Puerto Rican.

Racial diversity just does not exist west of Asheville, unless you're talking American Indians. You will have to adjust to this when you move.
