As of 5:30 pm, I have been laid off. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I would qualify for unemployment benefits or not. The office is closed currently, and I know I will definitely not sleep worrying about it (probably won't sleep anyway...)
Anyway, my situation is that I have 2 jobs. I was laid off from one. Am I eligible for maybe partial unemployment or underemployment, or something? I worked there for 2 years.

You may be eligible for partial unemployment, it depends on how many dollars you earn from your 2nd job. What you earn there may preclude you from benefits if it's too much. Your weekly benefit amount will be computed based on the wages you have in your base period. A consultant at ESC will be able to do some computations and give you a ballpark figure.

Thanks. I knew I'd have to wait for tomorrow for sure, but if it was a definite 'no' I wanted to know.

If one is making over 28,000 at a second job, chances are not real good for receiving UE bennies...but if one is making less than 10K it would be a possibility I think?...
